The Station Restaurant is situated in comfortable surroundings at The Old Station House located on Haverthwaite Railway Station.

We are a family run business who enjoy using excellent quality food supplied by local people.
Our Cumberland sausage, local beef for roasting, mince for our homemade meat and potato pies and Cumbrian chicken is supplied by Peter Hutchinson of Greenod tel: 01229 861558.
Free Range eggs are delivered to the Railway by local milkman Doug Saunders tel: 01229 587181. Cheeses from Thornby Moor Dairy in Penrith, fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered by McClure's of Windermere, a family firm since 1945. Bottled Local Beer is supplied from Ulverston Brewery tel: 07840192022, and finally, local ice-cream from English Lakes Ice-Cream in Kendal tel: 015395 721211, always delicious with our homemade apple pie or served in a cone.
