What’s onboard…

Your first class compartment will be embellished with all things ‘Christmassy’ and filled with seasonal tunes, it’s the perfect environment to soak up the festive atmosphere.

Whilst onboard our ‘porter’ will serve adults with a seasonal drink and snack.

After meeting the colourful Christmas Characters, Father Christmas will visit your family’s compartment. Don’t forget to leave a space for  Father Christmas to sit as he joins you to give out presents to all the good children. Take this opportunity to capture a memorable family photo with Father Christmas.

PRICE:

Each compartment is £125, this includes up to 4 people.      Maximum per compartment is 8 people, add on extra group members at £30 each. All passengers must be paid and accounted for, from birth upwards.

DURATION:

Approximately 1 hour.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Adults: Seasonal cold drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and a tasty treat.

Children: As it has become increasingly difficult to find the perfect age appropriate gift for every child, we have decided to change things a little for 2025. Children aged 0-10yrs will receive a personalised collectable bear. Children aged 11-17yrs will receive a festive goody bag full of delicious treats . Every child will receive a yummy gingerbread person and soft drink…. handed out by a special helper!

 

DATES:

6th & 7th December, 13th & 14th December, 20th & 21st December 2025

TIMES EACH DAY:

10:00, 11:30, 13:00, 14:30 (limited availability; spaces fill up fast!)

SUGGESTED AGE GROUP:

This event is most suited to younger children from age 3 to 10 years, however all children are welcome and are equally special to Father Christmas. Gifts will be given to children from birth to 17 years.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS:

We have 1 compartment per time on each date with wheelchair access. Should you need this access please call: 015395 315 94 and we will be happy to help.

Christmas Jumpers/Costumes/Hats etc encouraged, festive cheer compulsory!!

Please note…

  • We have no control over the volume for demand. We try to anticipate the number of people trying to book and have our system as ready as it can be, but delays may occur, please be patient.
  • We will not tolerate any form of abuse, verbal, written or otherwise. We reserve the right to cancel bookings should this occur.
  • Once you have placed your booking there are NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS
  • You will receive a separate e-ticket after your booking is placed- this could take up to 5 working days to arrive. (check your junk email)
  • For safety and the event to run smoothly, you must sit in the compartment you are allocated. All gangways must be kept clear at all times.
  • There is no provision/space for pushchairs/car seats etc. on the train or in the station- please leave these in your car.
